- What I Love About My Small Home:
- Location is important and that is the only thing you can not change later. All the windows of my place are facing to the south into courtyard. My home has lots of light.
All the furniture is weather self made, second hand, from my friends or from my grandma's. It has some memories and history, this is something that you can not just go and buy in a shop.
For two years this apartment was my playground, where I tested materials and ideas. I planned the apartment myself and I made most of the renovation. I used natural materials and natural paint. For living room paint I mixed lime with water and pigment, the result is layered white wall. For bedroom I mixed eggs and oil with pigment. The wooden bath I made together with my friend at academy's wood workshop. The whole renovation project was low budget, but for the same reason it gave many great ideas and experiences.
