Good Questions: Quality of CB2's Lubi Daybed?

Good Questions: Quality of CB2's Lubi Daybed?

Aug 31, 2007

Paige, an AT: San Francisco devotee, has a question for our Chicago readers:
Can anyone recommend or attest to the quality of the CB2 lubi daybed or comment on the quality of CB2 couches, chairs or beds?

My husband and I are eager to find a better-than-a-futon solution for our office/guest bedroom, and this looks ideal.

CB2 doesn't have any stores by us, and I don't have any way to feel the quality, firmness or comfort of the foam used in the daybed.

Thanks for your help!

Dear Paige-

We're not familiar with the quality of this specific daybed. We are, however, a little wary of the fold-out foam mattress. It's probably fine for limited use (such as infrequent house guests) but if one were to sleep on it nightly, it might not last too long. We also worry that the half of the double foam pad which sits directly on the floor might start to sink or sag more quickly than the half with the wooden frame and legs.

But, again, this is all speculation!

AT: Chicago, can any of you speak from recent CB2 experience?
