The Setu Chair is the latest in workplace seating from the legendary designer Herman Miller. We discovered a great behind the scenes look at the production of the new chair, from concept to manufacture...

Over at Otto, a blog about architecture and design, a behind the scenes look at the entire production of Herman Miller's latest chair design, the Setu chair. The Studio 7.5 team, responsible for the design of the new seating, sought to create "a chair that combines work-chair principles of motion and comfort with sleak lines, simplicity, and an affordable price."

According to the Herman Miller website, the Setu has an "innovative kinematic spine bends and flexes to your every move. There's nothing to tilt, nothing to tweak. Setu's finely tuned elastomeric fabric provides superior suspension and conforms to your contours." Check out the article to see exactly what goes into designing a high-tech ergonomic chair---truly "high performance" seating! We liked peeking into the entire process...
