Having a good desk when you work from home is as important as having a good bed. Like the latter, if you're not comfortable at your desk you're going to have a really tough time getting through the day. We're pretty happy with our Ikea table, but if we had $720 to spend, we'd be spending it on this collapsible desk...

The new-old-stock Vintage Folding Desk was designed for the US Military in the late '60s - '70s. "They built these for use in the fields for hospital staff," writes the seller. The mint green aluminum is just beautiful, plus three great sized drawers are just enough space to hide loose goods.

We're drooling just thinking how easy it would be to move with this monster since it folds up nice and compact. Sure 90 lbs. would make our muscles burn, but not having to worry about maneuvering table legs through narrow doors would be so sweet -- not sweaty!

You can always count on the military to build something functional. And you can always count on the lates 60s and 70s to design something beautiful.
