Tsigos Brings the Mungle Desk, Star Wars Influence

If Darth Vader were to own a desk, we imagine it would look something along the lines of the Mungle Office Desk by Greek designer Dimitrios Tsigos. Perhaps it's the proliferation of the geometrical shapes that give us the Death Star impression, but otherwise, a fantastic piece of any office environment. Diggin' the look? If so, you might want to check out the gigantic coffee table that follows similar design techniques, after the jump.

Another shot of the table really emphasizes the stacking domino technique used to create the geometric design. We imagine cleaning be an issue, but wire management could probably be very well-incorporated since you could run it against the bottom.

Because the design is so simple in nature, Tsigos Design claims it's an "inexpensive construction process" and final product cost to be "highly competitive in relation to similarly irregular and complex pieces." Good news if you're looking for that ultimate piece to finish off an over-the-top media room.

As promised, here's a shot of the Mungle Coffee Table. We're not too sure if they mix well with the Barcelona chairs - then again, it has to looks to stand alone at an art gallery or furniture show.

No word on pricing or availability, but that can always change with some good ol' fashioned demand. Feel free to bug them at their Athens offices over here.
